Description:
Cream 2% white, homogeneous, with a characteristic odor. The main active ingredient is conazole nitrate Release form Cream Dosage 15 g Special instructions The drug is intended for external use only. If the nails are affected, it is recommended to cut them as short as possible. Particular attention is paid to the treatment of interdigital spaces in case of damage to the feet; wearing free, well-ventilated shoes and changing socks at least 1 time / day is shown. Avoid getting the drug in the eyes due to the possible development of irritation. In case of accidental contact of the cream with the eyes, they should be rinsed immediately with running water. For elderly patients, correction of the dosing regimen is not required. Use in pediatrics. Experience with the drug in children is limited. Indications for use fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton (including T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum), Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis; skin candidiasis; pityriasis versicolor (Pityriasis versicolor) caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare (Malassezia furfur); onychomycosis; mixed fungal-bacterial lesions of the skin and nails. Method of administration and doses Skin diseases The cream is applied to the skin washed with soap and thoroughly dried in the affected area and lightly rubbed. The drug is used 2 times / day, morning and evening. The course is continued until the symptoms disappear completely and for the next few days to prevent relapses. The usual duration of treatment is 2-6 weeks. Diseases of the nails Nails are cut as short as possible. The cream is applied to the affected nails 2 times / day and covered with an occlusive dressing (non-perforated patch). Treatment is carried out for a long time, until a new nail plate grows. Use during pregnancy and lactation The use of the drug in the first trimester of pregnancy is contraindicated. Clinical experience with the use of Fungazol during pregnancy is limited, so the drug should be prescribed only for strict indications. The drug should be used with caution during lactation (breastfeeding). When using Fungazol in a nursing mother, any negative effect on the baby is unlikely, since the systemic absorption of the drug through the skin is extremely small. In experimental studies, no teratogenic properties of miconazole have been identified. No malformations have been reported with the use of the drug. Interaction with other drugs The drug interaction of Fungazol is currently unknown.
