Name:
Lactobacillin pore.lyof.d/pr.vn.5 doses per vial in unitary enterprise No. 6
Description:
Powder or porous mass of light beige or light beige with a yellowish tint color with a characteristic odor and bitter-sour taste. The main active ingredient Lactobacillus acidophilus + bacillus subtilis Release form Powder Pharmacological action LACTOBACILLIN is a combined preparation, which is a lyophilized mass of live microorganisms Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bacillus subtilis. Lactobacillus acidophilus – belong to the Lactobacillaceae family, which combines gram-positive, immobile, non-spore-forming anaerobic lactobacilli that decompose carbohydrates with the formation of lactic acid. The acidic environment they create promotes the development of bifidobacteria (bifidobacteria make up 80-90% of the intestinal flora of breastfed children). In the process of normal metabolism, lactobacilli are able to form lactic acid, produce lysozyme, and other substances with antibiotic activity: reuterin, plantaricin, lactocidin, lactolin. Due to the production of organic acids, bacteriocins, many strains of lactobacilli exhibit pronounced antagonistic activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. The immunostimulatory property of lactobacilli is associated with the presence in their cell wall of peptidoglycans and teichoic acids, which have an immunomodulatory effect. Bacillus subtilis secrete broad-spectrum antibacterial substances that inhibit the development of a number of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria. The growth of saprophytes, including normal intestinal microflora, is not inhibited by Lactobacillin. The culture of Bacillus subtilis also produces other biologically active substances, such as proteolytic enzymes, lysozyme, lipases, amylases and others, which contribute to the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, participating in the digestion and assimilation of food. Indications for use LACTOBACILLIN is used as an adjuvant for: – the symptomatic treatment of diarrhea and as an adjunct to fluid replacement and/or dietary measures in adults; – prevention of intestinal dysfunction after antibiotic and radiation therapy; – contributes to the restoration of microbiological balance in the intestines in acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the large and small intestines, occurring against the background of microflora disorders. Dosage and administrationLactobacillin is intended for oral administration. Before use, the vials are opened, and their contents are dissolved with boiled water at room temperature at the rate of 1 tablespoon of water per vial. The drug dissolves within 5 minutes to form a homogeneous cream-colored suspension with a specific odor. Then the contents are transferred to a glass of water, stirred and drunk. Lactobacillin should be taken 30 minutes before meals or between meals. Adults are advised to take 5 doses 3 times a day. The duration of the course of drug treatment is 12 days. If necessary, only on the recommendation of a doctor, a single dose can be increased to 10, the duration of treatment – up to 21 days. If the patient has forgotten to take Lactobacillin, then the missed dose should be taken as soon as possible, until the time of the next dose is approaching. If it is time for the next dose of the medicine, the missed dose should not be taken. Do not double the dosage of the drug to compensate for the missed dose. Further, the drug is used according to the recommended dosing regimen. Use during pregnancy and lactation Pregnancy and lactation are not a contraindication. To date, in clinical practice, no manifestations of toxic effects have been observed in relation to the developing human fetus. However, insufficient monitoring of the effect of the drug during pregnancy does not eliminate the potential risk of adverse reactions. Precautions If diarrhea persists after two days of treatment, treatment approaches should be reviewed and, if necessary, measures taken to replace fluid loss. The patient should be informed about the need to: – drink plenty of fluids to compensate for fluid loss due to diarrhea (daily water intake for an adult is an average of 2 liters); – Eat a nutritious diet for the duration of the symptoms of diarrhea, excluding certain foods, in particular, raw vegetables, fruits, herbs, spicy foods, chilled foods and cold drinks. For the following groups of patients, probiotic therapy is carried out only under the supervision of a physician: – patients with impaired or suppressed immune systems, especially patients in the advanced stages of AIDS or patients with allografts, as well as those receiving chemotherapy; – patients suffering from endo- or myocarditis who have undergone operations on the colon or in the oral cavity and on the teeth; – patients with acute pancreatic dysfunction, including insulin-dependent diabetics. Probiotics can improve the absorption of sugar and thus cause insulin shock in patients. When taking probiotics, blood glucose levels should be constantly measured and the insulin dose should be reduced accordingly. – Patients with diarrhea with an admixture of blood. Use in all of the above cases is possible when the expected beneficial effect of probiotics outweighs the possible risk. Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and other potentially dangerous mechanisms. Does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and other potentially dangerous mechanisms. Interaction with other drugs Potentially dangerous drug interactions have not been established. Lactobacillin can be used together with other drugs. When treating with the drug, you should avoid eating foods that have phytoncidal activity (garlic, onion). The used strains-producers are resistant to benzylpenicillin, tetracycline, lincomycin, ampicillin, oxacillin, cefazolin, cefotaxime, sulfonamides, chloramphenicol, weakly sensitive to azithromycin, cefaclor, cefepime, norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin, colistin and polymyxin. Contraindications The use of the drug Lactobacillin is contraindicated in patients with increased individual sensitivity to any of the components of the drug (lactobacilli, bacilli), dairy products. There are no other contraindications to the use of the drug Lactobacillin. Currently, there are no adequate clinical data on the safety of the drug in children, as well as during pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Composition of Lactobacillus acidophilus 95/25 cells – at least 10 8 CFU, Bacillus subtilis S cells – at least 10 7 CFU. Overdose No cases of drug overdose have been reported. Side effects In rare cases, side effects may occur in the form of chills, skin rashes, abdominal pain, diarrhea. With a decrease in dosage or withdrawal of the drug, these phenomena are completely stopped within a day. Storage conditions In a place protected from light at a temperature of 2 0C to 8 0C.
