Description:
GeloMyrtol® forte. Soft gelatin capsules, transparent, oblong shape. The contents of the capsules are a clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic odor. The main active substance Myrtol Release formGeloMyrtol® forte. Capsules are enteric. 10 caps. in a blister of laminated and aluminum foil. 2 blisters (20 caps.) in a cardboard box. Dosage 300 mg Pharmacological action Expectorants, except in combination with antitussives. This drug facilitates sputum discharge in acute and chronic bronchitis, and also alleviates the symptoms of sinusitis. The active ingredients of the GeloMyrtol® capsule help thin and reduce the viscosity of sputum and nasopharyngeal secretions and improve their evacuation. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the symptoms of the disease and is determined by the attending physician. Pregnancy and lactation If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or think you are pregnant or planning to have a baby, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Pregnancy: Animal studies have shown no direct or indirect harmful effects on the fetus in utero. Fertility: Animal studies have shown no direct or indirect harmful effects on fertility. Driving and using machinery No special precautions are required. Interactions with other drugs If the drug is taken as recommended, there are no known interactions with other drugs. Contraindications Do not take GeloMyrtol® if you have an inflammatory disease of the stomach, intestines or biliary tract, or if you have severe liver disease, if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients (listed in section 6).
