Diltiazem Farmland tablets are white, round, with a biconvex surface, with a risk on one side. The notch on the tablet is intended to divide the tablet for ease of administration, but not to divide it into equal doses. The main active ingredient Diltiazem Release form tablets Dosage 60 mg Indications Diltiazem Pharmland tablets belong to a group of medicines called selective calcium channel blockers with a direct effect on the heart. Diltiazem Pharmland tablets are used to: prevent and treat (long-term) angina; not intended for the relief of acute attacks of angina pectoris treatment of arterial hypertension Dosage and administrationAlways take Diltiazem Pharmland exactly as directed by your doctor. Composition Each Diltiazem Pharmland tablet contains the active ingredient: diltiazem hydrochloride 60 mg, and excipients: lactose monohydrate 36.94 mg, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, povidone K-30, gelatin, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, purified talc, silicon colloidal anhydrous dioxide. Overdose Do not take more tablets than your doctor has prescribed. If you have taken more pills, call an ambulance or tell your doctor right away. An overdose of Diltiazem Pharmland can cause dizziness or weakness, blurred vision, chest pain, shortness of breath, fainting, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, slurred speech, confusion, coma, sudden death, and decreased kidney function. Side effects Like all medicines, Diltiazem Pharmland tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Stop taking the drug immediately and call your doctor or go to the hospital if: Frequency unknown (cannot be estimated from the available data): You have an allergic reaction. Signs may include: rash, difficulty swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of the lips, face, throat, or tongue. You have a red or bumpy skin rash; swollen eyelids, face, lips, throat, or tongue; difficulty swallowing. You have trouble breathing, wheezing, chest tightness (called “bronchospasm”) You have blisters or peeling of the skin around the lips, eyes, mouth, nose and genitals, flu-like symptoms and fever. It could be a condition called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. You have a severe rash that turns into blisters, possibly with large areas of skin peeling off. The condition will be accompanied by general malaise, fever, chills, and muscle pain. It could be a disease called toxic epidermal necrolysis. You have a skin rash or skin lesions with a pink/red ring and a pale center, possibly itchy, scaly, or filled with fluid. The rash may especially appear on the palms or soles of your feet. This could be a sign of a serious allergy to a drug called erythema multiforme. Be sure to check with your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms and you may need serious medical attention: Common (less than 1 in 10 patients): slow or irregular heartbeat; rapid , irregular or pronounced heart rate (palpitations). Frequency unknown (cannot be estimated from the available data): skin rash caused by narrowing or blockage of blood vessels (called “vasculitis”); shortness of breath, feeling tired, together with swelling of the ankles and legs . This may be a sign of inflammation of the liver (called “hepatitis”); increased amount of urine, increased thirst, dry mouth or skin. These may be signs of high blood sugar (hyperglycemia); there is an increased risk of sunburn, and it may be more severe than in those who do not take Diltiazem Pharmland. You should use sun protection while taking this drug; male breast enlargement.
