When applied externally, it has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect. Diclofenac relieves or eliminates pain at the site of application, joint pain at rest and during movement, reduces morning stiffness and swelling of the joints. Reduces post-traumatic and postoperative pain, as well as inflammatory edema. It helps to increase the range of motion in the affected joints. The alcohol base of the gel additionally has a cooling and analgesic effect. Diclofenac FT gel is used for: 1. Local symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in: – traumatic injury to tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (for example, as a result of dislocation, sprain or bruise); – localized forms of rheumatic diseases with soft tissue damage. 2. For the local symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis of the joints, for which local therapy is acceptable due to the superficial location. Diclofenac FT Gel is used in adults and children aged 14 years and older. Do not use the drug – if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to diclofenac and / or to any of the auxiliary components of the drug (see the “Composition” section of the leaflet); – if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to other drugs for treatment pain, fever, and inflammation (eg, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, indomethacin). An allergic reaction to these drugs can be manifested by asthma attacks (wheezing or shortness of breath), hives (itchy skin rashes in the form of blisters), swelling of the face or tongue, acute rhinitis (nasal discharge or nasal congestion); – in the third trimester of pregnancy. Diclofenac FT is not intended for use in children under 14 years of age. Special instructions and precautions for use The drug is used only externally. Swallowing is not allowed. Hands should be washed after applying Diclofenac FT Gel, unless the hands are the treatment area. Do not use Diclofenac FT Gel on cuts, scratches, rashes, or other skin lesions. If skin rashes occur after application of the drug, its use must be discontinued. Avoid applying Diclofenac FT Gel to large areas of the skin and for a long time, unless advised by your doctor.
