These sterile, single-use polypropylene containers are designed for the contactless collection, storage, and transport of biomaterials (up to 120ml capacity, graduated to 100ml in 20ml increments) for subsequent laboratory analysis. Each container features a protective seal maintaining sterility until use, covering the urine transfer device opening. The container’s unique lid incorporates a needle (protected by a rubber sheath) for piercing vacuum tubes, ensuring efficient and safe sample transfer. The convex lid design minimizes biomaterial residue during collection. Liquid transfer is facilitated by the negative pressure within the sterile vacuum tube. The yellow screw-cap ensures a secure, airtight seal. The transparent polypropylene construction allows for easy viewing, and a side window provides space for sample labeling.
