Title: Practice Laminate Cutting Disc, 160×20/16mm (031-174)
Description:
This high-quality circular saw blade is designed for hand-held and stationary circular saws. Featuring a blade body hardness of HRC 45-46 and tungsten carbide brazing (VK8 alloy) with a hardness of HRC 90-93, this laminate cutting disc boasts a trapezoidal tooth profile for superior performance. The first trapezoidally-ground tooth performs the rough cut, while the slightly shorter, straight-ground second tooth ensures a clean, precise finish. Positive hook angle teeth are ideal for cleanly cutting laminated particleboard (LPM), providing a smooth bottom surface. For thinner materials, negative hook angle blades are recommended. When working with LPM, blades with a higher tooth count (40-64) are preferred for cleaner cuts, though this may reduce cutting speed and increase saw strain. For optimal cutting, the teeth should ideally enter the material at approximately a 45° angle. Adjust your saw so that the teeth extend about 10mm beyond the workpiece. To prevent chipping on laminated panels, apply masking tape to the cut line before marking and cutting. For best results, mark and cut from the reverse side of the material to protect the finish.
