Instructions for Use:

1. Remove the plunger cap.
2. Remove the needle protective cap.
3. Draw back the plunger to aspirate an air volume equal to the required insulin dose.
4. Insert the needle into the vial stopper at a right angle, and inject the air into the vial.
5. Invert the vial and syringe, holding the vial above the syringe.
6. Draw the plunger back to aspirate the required dose of insulin.
7. Remove any air bubbles.
8. Using the syringe scale, ensure the correct insulin dose is drawn.
9. Follow your doctor’s recommended injection technique.
10. Select an injection site (abdomen, thigh, buttocks, or upper arm).
11. Prepare the injection site using an appropriate antiseptic.
12. Either pinch a skin fold and inject at a 90-degree angle, or inject at a 45-degree angle to minimize the risk of intramuscular injection. Inject into subcutaneous tissue.
13. Depress the plunger to administer the insulin.
14. Withdraw the needle.
15. Release the skin fold (if used).
16. Dispose of the syringe appropriately after use.
