Instructions for Use
- Sizing: Your pediatrician will determine the correct size based on the distance between the infant’s popliteal creases while the hips are abducted.
- Application: Place the baby so their perineum is centered on the cast base, with their legs positioned along the sides. Fasten the straps in the front, adjusting for a snug but comfortable fit. Apply over clothing and/or a diaper.
- Adjustments: The band’s width can be adjusted up to 1-2 cm as needed.
- Initial Adjustment Period: Infants may exhibit some initial fussiness (1-2 weeks). Soothe your baby with gentle massage, warm compresses, soothing baths, or a pacifier.
- Duration of Use: The duration and frequency of use will be determined by your child’s physician.
Care Instructions
