Description: The C4 Vario (Miami) cervical orthosis provides complete immobilization of the cervical spine. Indications include compression fractures of the cervical vertebrae, severe damage to the cervical spine ligaments, post-operative care, severe spondylitis, stages 3 and 4 cervical spondylosis, cervical cartilage degeneration, herniated intervertebral discs, and neck stabilization following fractures. This lightweight yet highly functional orthosis features a plastic front and back panel secured with Velcro closures, ensuring maximum patient comfort for extended wear. A layer of soft plastic between the rigid lower element and the soft inner lining further enhances comfort. The device includes a chin lift mechanism with a height indicator to achieve the physician-recommended position. A large anterior opening provides easy access to the front of the neck for tracheostomy care and other procedures. Suitable for both conservative treatment of compression fractures and intensive care settings. The removable inner lining allows for easy sanitation. The orthosis features a universal size design, including the rear panel.
