Dosage and administration The drug is prescribed under the tongue. The capsule should be kept in the mouth until completely resorbed. Take one capsule 2-3 times a day. The daily frequency and duration of taking Validol is determined depending on the effectiveness of the treatment. In the absence or insufficient severity of the therapeutic effect in the next 5-10 minutes after taking the drug, you should consult a doctor to prescribe another therapy. Special instructions To speed up the achievement of the desired effect, the capsule of validol can be cracked. If symptoms persist or worsen while taking the drug, you should consult a doctor. If the pain in the region of the heart does not go away after taking the drug, it is necessary to exclude acute coronary syndrome. In case of overdose, the drug should be discontinued. Treatment is symptomatic. Contraindications – hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; – severe arterial hypotension; – acute myocardial infarction; – children’s age up to 18 years; – patients with epilepsy and a history of convulsions (including febrile convulsions). With caution: gastroesophageal reflux, hiatal hernia, inflammatory and ulcerative diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, bronchial asthma, a tendency to bronchospasm and laryngospasm.
