Name:
Hematovit tile 50g in pack No. 1
Description:
Tile, divided into four parts by notches, dark brown in color, with a characteristic smell, sweet taste. Release form tile Dosage 50 g Pharmacological action Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) has pronounced restorative properties. Belongs to the group of water-soluble vitamins. Participates in redox reactions, regulation of carbohydrate metabolism, affects the metabolism of aromatic amino acids, thyroxine metabolism, biosynthesis of catecholamines, steroid hormones and insulin, is necessary for blood coagulation, collagen and procollagen synthesis, regeneration of connective and bone tissue. Improves capillary permeability. Promotes the absorption of iron in the intestines and takes part in the synthesis of hemoglobin. It increases the nonspecific resistance of the body, has a nonspecific general stimulating effect on the body. Deficiency of vitamin C in food leads to the development of hypo- and avitaminosis C, since this vitamin is not synthesized in the body. Indications for use Used as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent for increased physical or neuropsychic stress, during the recovery period, after an infectious disease and to increase the body’s resistance to infectious and colds. Dosage and administration Inside, after meals: children over 3 years old – one part of the tile (30 mg of ascorbic acid) three times a day; adults – two to three parts of a tile (60-90 mg of ascorbic acid) three times a day. The maximum daily dose of ascorbic acid for adults is 900 mg. The duration of admission is determined by the doctor, taking into account the disease, the tolerance of the drug and the effect achieved. Use in persons with impaired liver and kidney function, in elderly patients. Dose adjustment is not required. If you miss another dose of a medicine, do not take a double dose to replace the missed one. Use during pregnancy and lactation There are not enough data on the use of ascorbic acid during pregnancy and lactation. Animal studies do not indicate harmful effects on pregnancy, embryonic development, childbirth and postnatal development of the fetus. During pregnancy and lactation, it is used only if the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the fetus and child. The minimum daily requirement for ascorbic acid in the II-III trimesters of pregnancy is about 60 mg. It should be borne in mind that the fetus can adapt to high doses of ascorbic acid, which is taken by a pregnant woman, and then the newborn may develop a “withdrawal” syndrome. Ascorbic acid is excreted in breast milk. A mother’s diet containing an adequate amount of ascorbic acid is sufficient to prevent vitamin C deficiency in an infant. Theoretically, there is a danger to the child when the mother uses high doses of ascorbic acid (it is recommended not to exceed the daily need for ascorbic acid by the nursing mother). The minimum daily requirement for ascorbic acid during lactation is 80 mg). Influence on the ability to drive a car and work with moving mechanisms Does not affect. Precautions Caution should be exercised when prescribing to patients with increased blood clotting. When taking large doses and long-term use of the drug, kidney function and blood pressure levels, as well as pancreatic function, should be monitored. Increased consumption of ascorbic acid over a long period can lead to increased renal clearance and deficiency of ascorbic acid upon abrupt withdrawal of the drug. Large doses of ascorbic acid are associated with the formation of calcium oxalate stones in the kidneys. Prolonged use of the drug (more than 2 weeks) can cause damage to the enamel of the teeth. The drug should be used with caution in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency. The drug HEMATOVIT is not recommended to be used simultaneously with other drugs containing ascorbic acid. The drug HEMATOVIT should not be used in patients with high iron content in the body. The appointment of ascorbic acid to patients with rapidly proliferating and intensively metastasizing tumors can aggravate the course of the process. Ascorbic acid, as a reducing agent, can distort the results of various laboratory tests (blood glucose, bilirubin, activity of “liver” transaminases and LDH). Patients with diabetes should take into account that 1 part of the tile contains 8.6 g of sucrose. Not recommended for patients with rare congenital fructose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (see section “Contraindications”). Application in children. The drug is recommended for children over 3 years of age. Interaction with other drugs The composition of the drug HEMATOVIT includes ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid increases the concentration of benzylpenicillin and tetracyclines in the blood. Improves intestinal absorption of Fe preparations (converts ferric iron to ferrous); May increase iron excretion when used concomitantly with deferoxamine. Reduces the effectiveness of heparin and indirect anticoagulants. Acetylsalicylic acid, oral contraceptives, fresh juices and alkaline drinks reduce the absorption and absorption of ascorbic acid. With simultaneous use with acetylsalicylic acid, the excretion of ascorbic acid in the urine increases and the excretion of acetylsalicylic acid decreases. Increases the risk of developing crystalluria in the treatment of salicylates and short-acting sulfonamides, slows down the excretion of acids by the kidneys, increases the excretion of drugs that have an alkaline reaction (including alkaloids), reduces the concentration of oral contraceptives in the blood. Increases the overall clearance of ethanol, which in turn reduces the concentration of ascorbic acid in the body. With the simultaneous use of ascorbic acid and isoprenaline, the chronotropic effect of isoprenaline decreases. Barbiturates and primidone increase the excretion of ascorbic acid in the urine. Reduces the therapeutic effect of antipsychotic drugs (neuroleptics) – phenothiazine derivatives, tubular reabsorption of amphetamine and tricyclic antidepressants. Concomitant use of aluminum-containing antacids may increase the excretion of aluminum in the urine. The simultaneous use of antacids and ascorbic acid is not recommended, especially in patients with renal insufficiency. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid and other components of the drug, thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, hyperoxaluria, nephrolithiasis, hemochromatosis. The drug should not be taken by persons with lactose and sucrose intolerance (rare congenital galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or malabsorption of glucose-galactose, rare congenital fructose intolerance and sucrase-isomaltase deficiency). The drug is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus. Children’s age up to 3 years. Composition Per tile: ascorbic acid – 120 mg; excipients: black food albumin, whole condensed milk with sugar, sucrose, caramel starch syrup, vanillin. Overdose Symptoms of overdose occur when using more than 1 g of ascorbic acid per day (more than 8 tablets of the drug HEMATOVIT). The following symptoms may develop: headache, increased excitability of the central nervous system, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hyperacid gastritis, ulceration of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, inhibition of the function of the insular apparatus of the pancreas (hyperglycemia, glucosuria), hyperoxaluria, nephrolithiasis (from calcium oxalate), damage to the glomerular apparatus of the kidneys, moderate pollakiuria (when taking a dose of more than 600 mg of ascorbic acid per day – 5 tiles of the drug HEMATOVIT). Decreased capillary permeability, increased blood pressure, hypercoagulability, development of microangiopathies. Changes in laboratory parameters: thrombocytosis, hyperprothrombinemia, erythropenia, neutrophilic leukocytosis, hypokalemia. Treatment: drug withdrawal, gastric lavage, alkaline drinking, activated charcoal or other sorbents, symptomatic therapy. Side effects Allergic reactions: skin rashes, Quincke’s edema, urticaria, sometimes anaphylactic shock during sensitization. From the side of the central nervous system: headache, irritability, sleep disturbances. From the urinary system: moderate pollakiuria (when taking a dose of more than 600 mg / day ascorbic acid), damage to the glomerular apparatus of the kidneys, crystalluria, the formation of urate and / or oxalate stones in the kidneys and urinary tract. From the digestive system: when taken in a dose of more than 1000 mg of ascorbic acid – heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hyperacid gastritis, ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, stomach cramps. On the part of the endocrine system: damage to the insular apparatus of the pancreas up to the appearance of diabetes mellitus. From the side of the cardiovascular system: thrombosis, when used in high doses, arterial hypertension, myocardial dystrophy, microangiopathy, myocardial dystrophy. On the part of the hematopoietic system: thrombocytosis, hyperprothrombinemia, erythropenia, neutrophilic leukocytosis, hypokalemia, hemolytic anemia (with a deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase). Other: hypervitaminosis, sensation of heat, hot flashes and redness of the skin, sometimes back pain; with prolonged use of large doses – sodium retention (Na +) and fluid, impaired metabolism of zinc (Zn2 +), copper (Cu2 +). In the event of adverse reactions, including those not listed in the package insert, stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor. Storage conditions In a place protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. Keep out of the reach of children.
