Interactions with Other Drugs:

• May increase antibacterial activity when used with oleandomycin, nystatin, and levorin.
• May decrease activity when used with benzylpenicillin salts and cephalosporins.
• Not recommended with erythromycin or lincosamides due to antagonism.
• Incompatible with cytostatics, sulfonamides, diphenyl, barbiturates, pyrazolone derivatives, and ethanol.
