Title: Sterile Disposable 3-Part Syringe with 22G Needle (0.7 x 40 mm), 5ml (10 Pack)
Description:
These sterile, disposable, three-part 5ml syringes with a 22G (0.7 x 40 mm) needle (10 pack) are designed for single use and offer superior clarity for precise medication measurement. The fully transparent cylinder allows for easy visualization of the contents, with a clearly marked scale running parallel to the cylinder’s vertical axis. The latex-free plunger ensures safe use for patients with latex allergies. The injection needle features a standard bevel for smooth insertion. Each syringe is individually blister-packed with an easy-peel design to prevent accidental opening while maintaining sterility.
Usage Instructions:
Before Use:
- Visually inspect the individual sterile packaging for any damage.
- Verify the syringe’s expiration date, clearly printed on the packaging. Do not use syringes with damaged packaging or expired dates.
Preparation:
- Gather necessary supplies: syringe, medication, antiseptic wipes, and a sharps disposal container.
- Select the appropriate syringe size, needle length, and configuration based on the medication volume, viscosity, and injection type (intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous).
- Thoroughly wash hands with soap and water, then disinfect with an antiseptic wipe.
- Put on disposable medical gloves.
- Disinfect the medication ampule or vial.
- Open the ampule or remove the vial’s protective cap.
- Open the individual syringe packaging and remove the syringe with the attached needle.
- Carefully remove the needle’s protective cap.
- When drawing medication from an ampule, slowly draw the liquid, gradually raising the ampule’s base as the liquid level decreases. When using a vial, invert the vial, holding it between your second and third fingers while supporting the needle with your fourth finger and holding the syringe barrel with your first and fifth fingers. Draw the required medication amount.
- If using a dual-needle syringe, replace the filling needle with the second needle provided in the individual packaging.
Administration:
- Prepare the injection site by cleaning it with an antiseptic wipe.
- Administer the injection using appropriate technique and following the standard for the injection type (subcutaneous, intradermal, intramuscular, intravenous).
- Remove the syringe and needle. Gently press a clean antiseptic wipe to the injection site. A small amount of bleeding is normal.
- Do not replace the needle cap to prevent accidental needle sticks.
- For aspiration of fluids from body cavities, proceed with aspiration after removing the syringe from its packaging.
- For irrigation of body cavities, proceed with irrigation after filling the syringe with the irrigation solution.
- Always use a puncture-resistant container for the safe disposal of used needles and syringes.
