The Immo 2440 shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand immobilizer offers comprehensive support and immobilization for a wide range of upper extremity conditions. This versatile brace maintains the forearm, wrist, and hand in a neutral position while gently cradling the arm against the torso. The integrated abdominal support belt reduces strain on the shoulder and prevents neck pressure, enhancing patient comfort.
Indications
- Shoulder and/or elbow injuries and inflammatory diseases.
- Conservative treatment of uncomplicated proximal humeral fractures.
- Shoulder dislocations.
- Uncomplicated clavicle and/or scapula fractures.
- Post-operative immobilization (e.g., rotator cuff surgery, dislocation reduction).
- Prevention of shoulder subluxation or dislocation (joint instability).
- Support for a paralyzed upper extremity.
- Analgesic fixation of the shoulder, forearm, wrist, and fingers for non-surgical injuries including:
- Shoulder and elbow joint sprains and dislocations.
- Arm muscle injuries.
- Shoulder and elbow bone fractures.
- Shoulder tendon injuries.
