The ImmunoChrom-Cardio-Express 3-in-1 test provides a quick, one-step qualitative in vitro detection. Myoglobin, CK-MB, and cardiac troponin I are proteins released into the bloodstream following a myocardial infarction. Results from the ImmunoChrom-Cardio-Express should be interpreted in conjunction with other clinical findings and should not be considered the sole diagnostic criterion for myocardial infarction. How it Works:

The test utilizes a competitive antigen-antibody reaction and immuno-chromatographic separation. The sample is absorbed into the test cassette. If cardiac markers (cTnI, Myo, and CK-MB) are present above the threshold concentration, they react with specific monoclonal antibodies conjugated to colloidal gold, forming a colored antigen-antibody complex. This complex reacts with other monoclonal antibodies immobilized on the membrane in the test zones. Two distinct pink-violet lines at the T and C markings indicate the presence of cardiac markers. A single pink-violet line at the C marking (control zone) indicates their absence or concentration below the detection threshold. The control line (C) confirms proper test execution. No control materials are needed. Results are visually assessed within 15 minutes.
