Indications:

Composition and Properties:

Powder:

Contains polyoxymethylene (antiseptic, albumin coagulant for partial pulp devitalization), iodoform (continuous antibacterial action), zinc oxide, and a radiopaque additive.

Liquid:

Contains eugenol (analgesic, antiseptic, soothing), formaldehyde (microbicidal, microbistatic, broad-spectrum sterilizing agent), phenol (bactericidal, bacteriostatic, mummifying, sterilizing residual pulp – particularly useful in pulpotomy of infected deciduous molars), and dexamethasone (0.13%) – a fluorinated glucocorticosteroid providing potent anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects, reducing post-operative pain.

Pulpodent’s unique formulation ensures that only the coronal portion of the pulp directly contacting the paste undergoes mummification. The apical portion remains viable, facilitating root development in permanent teeth with incomplete roots.
