Pilex ointment has an anti-inflammatory and astringent effect. Pharmacokinetics Data on the pharmacokinetics of the multicomponent Ayurvedic drug Pilex in the dosage form of the ointment are not available. Activity is due to the combined action of its components. Indications for use As part of the complex treatment of stage I-II hemorrhoids and anal fissures. Dosage and administration Locally, adults 2 times a day (morning and evening), as well as before and after each act of defecation. Apply with an applicator to the mucous membrane of the rectum and hemorrhoids, including inflamed, reddened and indurated areas. The duration of treatment is determined individually depending on the severity of the pathological process. The minimum duration of the course of treatment is 14-28 days. If necessary, the course of therapy can be extended after consultation with a doctor. Precautions There may be a short-term burning sensation at the site of application, which disappears on its own after a few minutes. The therapeutic effect of Pilex develops gradually.
