Medi Travel Compression Socks: Prevent DVT During Travel (0 Compression Class)
Medi Travel compression socks are the first and only clinically tested travel socks, designed for long journeys and flights. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), or “traveler’s thrombus,” and leg swelling are increased risks during prolonged travel. Immobility, low cabin pressure, and humidity contribute to venous blood stasis, increasing the risk of blood clots. A dislodged clot can cause a life-threatening pulmonary embolism. Pain, ankle swelling, skin discoloration, or numbness can indicate a DVT risk. Even those with healthy veins are susceptible, especially those with pre-existing venous conditions.
Medi Travel socks provide physiologically graduated compression, reducing vein diameter and increasing venous return. Gentle movement while wearing them enhances muscle pump function, further reducing stasis and DVT risk. These women’s travel socks feature a smooth, semi-sheer texture, Clima Comfort breathability and moisture-wicking, Clima Fresh antimicrobial properties, and Perfect Fit technology for wrinkle-free comfort. Available in black and nude, sizes S-XXL, two lengths, and fit shoe sizes 36-43. 75% polyamide, 25% elastane; machine washable. Perfect for business or casual wear.
