Measurement Guide
Accurate sizing is crucial for optimal performance. Measure the following:
- AD: Length from heel to point D.
- D: Calf circumference 2 fingers below the popliteal fossa.
- C: Circumference of the widest part of the calf.
- B: Circumference of the narrowest part of the calf above the malleoli.
Improper sizing may compromise the product’s functionality.
How to Put On and Take Off
Putting on (Manual)
- Put on in the morning with neatly trimmed nails and rings removed.
- Sit comfortably. Bend your knee.
- Insert your hand into the sock until you reach the heel.
- Turn the sock inside out to the heel.
- Stretch the sock wide.
- Position the heel, then gradually pull the sock up, smoothing out wrinkles as you go.
Putting on (Using a Butler Sock Aid)
- Place the aid on the floor.
- Stretch the sock over the aid to the heel.
- Insert your foot.
- Pull the aid up to your knee.
- Remove the aid.
- Smooth out any wrinkles.
Taking Off
- Gently pull the top of the sock down, inverting it as you go. Avoid pulling on the elastic band.
Important Notes
- If the sock isn’t fully stretched, lower it and re-stretch it in sections.
- Gloves are recommended.
- Do not pull the socks above the kneecap.
- Do not apply cream or ointment to areas where silicone bands adhere.
- Do not pull on the compression part of tights or men’s compression garments.
