Description: The Lauma high-stretch compression bandage is a woven elastic fabric with over 170% extensibility. Available in a natural color, it's designed for targeted compression therapy on various body parts. Benefits include graduated compression, durability (maintains properties after washing), and comfortable wear.
Use of the elastic bandage is generally safe when used as directed. Potential side effects include ineffective application, skin irritation/friction, swelling, and numbness. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
The bandage can be used for both short and long-term wear. Consult your doctor regarding the appropriate application method and duration. The wearing time and schedule (including rest periods) should be determined by your physician.
When applying, each subsequent wrap should overlap the previous one by approximately 2/3. (See examples below – *Note: Examples would ideally be included here with images.*) Monitor the pressure; discomfort or pain indicates incorrect application. Observe skin color (feet, hands, fingers). White or bluish discoloration and numbness indicate excessive tightness. Remove and reapply, reducing stretch. Choose the appropriate length and width based on the limb circumference (knee, elbow, foot, or hand) with your healthcare professional's guidance.
Store and transport in areas with temperatures between 5°C and 25°C and humidity levels of 50% to 70%, at atmospheric pressure of 630-800 mm Hg. Keep at least 1 meter away from heating appliances and protect from direct sunlight and atmospheric influences.
