Indications

• Post-operative rehabilitation following Achilles tendon lengthening procedures (correction of equinus foot).
• Plantar fasciitis.
• Overloading of the longitudinal arch ligaments.
• Tendinopathy and tendonitis of the Achilles tendon.
• Injuries and diseases affecting the peroneal tendons.
• Soft tissue injuries of the foot.
• Anterior leg muscle paresis (e.g., post-stroke).

Contraindications

No absolute contraindications exist. However, the following require a physician’s consultation:

• Need for custom orthotic fabrication.
• Malignant neoplasms in the area of application.
• Contact dermatitis in the area of application.
• Allergic reaction to the materials used in the product.

Instructions for Use

1. Apply directly to the skin.
2. Secure with the strap system.
3. The degree of dorsiflexion should be adjusted by a physician.

Care and Storage

• Fasten all closures before washing.
• Hand wash in cold water (30°C) with a mild detergent.
• Do not use solvents, bleach, or dry cleaning.
• Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
• Do not rub or wring.
• Air dry flat, away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Do not iron.
• Store in a dry place at room temperature.
• Avoid moisture, high temperatures, and direct sunlight.
