Instructions for Use:
Putting on the Stockings (by hand):
- Ideally, put on the stockings in the morning. Ensure your nails are trimmed and rings are removed.
- Sit on a bed or sofa. Bend your leg at the knee.
- Place the stocking right-side out.
- Insert your hand to the heel, grasp the heel from the inside, and turn the stocking inside out up to the heel, smoothing it out.
- Insert two thumbs inside the turned-out stocking and stretch it wide.
- Pull up the heel area and align it with your heel, securing it by stepping on the heel.
- Make a small fold in the stocking at mid-foot level, grasp it firmly with your fingers on both sides, move it towards the instep, stretch it wide, resting against your heel (use either your thumbs or the bottom of your palms). Wrap the stretched stocking around your heel and pull it up to the ankle, smoothing the edge.
- Continue section by section (approximately 5 cm), gently stretching and smoothing the fabric to remove any wrinkles. Once the foot is visible, ensure the heel is positioned correctly. If it’s misaligned, reposition it and secure it.
Putting on the Stockings (using a donning aid):
- Place the donning aid on the floor, the curve facing you.
- Hold the stocking with both hands, heel facing you.
- Pull the stocking onto the donning aid up to the heel.
- Insert your foot, placing your foot on the floor.
- Pull the donning aid up to the knee.
- Remove the donning aid.
- Smooth out the stocking.
Removing the Stockings:
- Grasp the top of the stocking and gently roll it down to the knee, then the ankle, and finally the toe.
- Do not pull on the elastic band; grip the knitted fabric.
Important Notes:
- If the stocking isn’t sufficiently stretched, don’t pull it up by the top; instead, lower it and stretch it again section by section, more firmly this time.
- Preferably use gloves when putting on the stockings.
- For socks, do not pull them above the kneecap.
- For stockings with a silicone band, do not apply cream or ointment to the area where the silicone band adheres.
- For tights and men’s compression pants, if the compression area is not sufficiently stretched, do not try to pull it up “like pants,” as this may cause seams to burst or loops to appear.
- WARNING! Do not cut off loose threads or labels to avoid unraveling the knots formed during manufacturing.
- Wear the stockings as recommended by your doctor. If no recommendations have been provided, we suggest wearing them in the morning and removing them in the evening.
Care Instructions:
Hand wash daily using mild detergents at a temperature of ≤ 30°C (86°F). Air dry away from heating appliances and direct sunlight.
