Product Specifications:

The Esmarch jug features a flat rubber reservoir with a neck and lower spout connected via a connector to a PVC tube. This tube includes a shut-off device (valve and clamp) and a tip. The tube adheres to TU 9393-018-00149535-2003 and is made of PVC plastic (T-35 grade) or other materials approved by health authorities. Dimensions:

Chemical Resistance:

The irrigator is resistant to common medical solutions:

• The jug body withstands 1% aqueous solutions of acetic acid (GOST 61) and potassium permanganate (GOST 20490) at (70 ± 2) °C without deformation, cracking, or significant reduction in tensile strength (minimum 5.0 MPa).
• The PVC tube shows a maximum 8% weight change after 24 hours’ immersion in a 1% aqueous solution of acetic acid (GOST 61) and a maximum 2% change in a 1% aqueous solution of potassium permanganate (GOST 20490) at (20 ± 5) °C.

Sterilization and Disinfection:

The Esmarch jug can withstand repeated disinfection using a 1% chloramine solution or a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution with a 0.5% detergent (GOST 25644), or two applications of a gauze wipe (GOST 11109) soaked in the same disinfectant solution (15-minute intervals). After 50 disinfection cycles, the jug remains free from visible cracks or deformation. The tips withstand disinfection, pre-sterilization cleaning, and sterilization (MU 287-113).

Storage and Shelf Life:

Avoid contact with oils, solvents, acids, alkalis, or other substances that could damage the rubber or PVC. Shelf life is 3.5 years from the date of manufacture.
