Descoton Extra is a high-level disinfectant concentrate ideal for medical facilities. This 2-liter bottle provides effective disinfection and sterilization of a wide range of medical devices, including:
- Medical Instruments: Surgical, dental (including rotary instruments), and endoscope instruments made from various materials.
- Dental Materials: Alginate, silicone, and polyester resin impressions; metal, ceramic, and plastic dentures; impression trays.
- High-Level Disinfection (HLD) of Endoscopes: Effectively disinfects both flexible and rigid endoscopes.
- Sterilization: Sterilizes medical instruments (including surgical, dental, and rotary instruments), and endoscopes.
Microbiological Efficacy:
Descoton Extra demonstrates broad-spectrum efficacy against:
- Bacteria: Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including hospital-acquired infection pathogens and Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
- Viruses: Adenoviruses, influenza viruses (including avian and swine influenza), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), enteroviruses, rotaviruses, poliovirus, hepatitis viruses (enteric and parenteral), herpes viruses, atypical pneumonia viruses, and HIV.

Application:
Working solutions are prepared by mixing the concentrate with potable water. Instruments should be fully immersed in the solution immediately after use, ensuring complete submersion and that all parts, including locking mechanisms, are open and adequately exposed to the solution. Channels and cavities should be completely filled, avoiding air bubbles. Maintain a minimum solution depth of 1 cm above the instruments. The solution temperature should be at least +18°C (64°F). Solutions can be reused for manual processing until a visual change is observed, or for mechanized processing throughout a single work shift.

Storage:
Store the concentrate in the original packaging at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C (41°F and 104°F), away from medications, food, and children, in a dry, well-ventilated area. Store working solutions in closed containers in a cool place.
