CPR Keychain Mask: Life-Saving First Aid on Your Keys
Cardiovascular disease claims nearly 1 million lives annually in Russia, with 7 people succumbing to heart attacks every hour. While professionals are crucial, bystanders can make a life-saving difference by administering immediate first aid before emergency services arrive.
This compact CPR keychain mask, housed in a soft case with a disposable barrier mask, empowers you to provide crucial assistance during a cardiac arrest while protecting yourself. Its universal design caters to both adults and children.
The brightly colored keychain easily attaches to your keys, purse, or belt loop, ensuring immediate access in emergencies. Always know where your life-saving device is. This practical and potentially life-saving device also makes a thoughtful and useful gift.
Features:
- Soft, Velcro-closure case
- Durable key ring attachment
- Disposable, single-use barrier mask for safe mouth-to-mouth resuscitation (CPR)
- Universal size for adults and children
- Bright color for easy location
Usage:
- Remove the mask from the case.
- Place the mask over the victim’s mouth. The one-way valve ensures unimpeded airflow while protecting you from the victim’s fluids and breath.
- If the victim is unconscious, lay them flat and check for breathing for 10 seconds.
- If unconscious and not breathing, immediately call emergency services (112 in Russia).
- Begin CPR: 30 chest compressions followed by 2 rescue breaths. Repeat the cycle (30 compressions, 2 breaths) until help arrives.
The keychain case features a handy reminder of the compression-to-breath ratio, invaluable in stressful situations. The mask is disposable for hygiene and should be discarded after use. The keychain itself is reusable.
