A powerful disinfectant for treating skin, medical instruments, and other surfaces. This 0.5% chlorhexidine solution, packaged as a 100ml spray (6-pack), offers broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy. Its versatile application makes it suitable for various uses, including hand hygiene, surgical preparation, and instrument sterilization. Detailed instructions are provided below ensuring safe and effective use.

Indications for Use:

1. Hand Hygiene: Apply 3ml to hands and rub until dry (approximately 30 seconds).
2. Surgical Hand Antisepsis: Thoroughly wash hands and forearms twice with warm water and soap for 2 minutes, then dry with a sterile gauze swab. Apply 2.5ml twice to hands and forearms, maintaining wetness for 5 minutes. Apply sterile gloves after complete drying.
3. Skin Antisepsis (Surgical Field, Donor Elbow Creases, Catheter Insertion Sites, Joint Puncture Sites): Thoroughly wipe the area twice with separate sterile gauze swabs soaked in the solution. Allow 2 minutes contact time. Pre-operative showering and linen change are recommended.
4. Injection Site/Vaccination Site Antisepsis: Wipe the area with a sterile cotton swab generously soaked in the solution. Allow 30 seconds contact time. Alternatively, spray the injection site until fully saturated, followed by a 30-second contact time.
5. Disinfection of Gloved Hands: Thoroughly wipe the exterior of gloves with a sterile cotton or gauze swab saturated with at least 3ml of solution. Treat for at least 1 minute, until completely dry.
6. Disinfection of Small, Alcohol-Resistant Instruments (Medical Facilities, Beauty Salons, Barber Shops, Manicure/Pedicure Salons, etc.): Completely immerse instruments immediately after use, removing visible debris with tissue wipes. Dispose of wipes appropriately after disinfection. Fill any channels or cavities, avoiding air bubbles. Flush channels repeatedly with the solution and air using a syringe or similar device until bioburden is removed. Disassemble multi-part instruments before immersion. For instruments with locking mechanisms, open them and work the mechanism to ensure solution penetration. Maintain a minimum solution depth of 1cm. After a 5-minute disinfection period, rinse instruments with running potable water for at least 1 minute, paying close attention to channels (using a syringe or electric aspirator). Avoid splashing water into the rinsing container.

Precautions:

For external use only. Do not apply to wounds or mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep away from open flames and heat sources. Do not smoke while using. Do not use after expiry date. Do not discharge undiluted into drains or waterways. Flammable! Highly flammable! Use only as directed. Harmful if swallowed.

Transportation:

Ground transportation is permitted according to applicable regulations, at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C. In case of spillage, collect the solution for appropriate disposal.

Storage:

Store in tightly closed original container at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C, away from heat and ignition sources, and out of direct sunlight. Do not smoke. Keep out of reach of children and away from medications.
