Siberian Pea Shrub, also known as Caragana frutex, is a versatile medicinal plant with a rich history of traditional use. This product contains 30 grams of finely ground Siberian Pea Shrub shoots, providing a convenient way to harness its potential health benefits. Various preparations can be made, catering to a range of ailments.
Internal Use:
- For Acute Respiratory Infections (ARIs) and Influenza: Boil 1 tablespoon (5g) of shoots in 1 cup (200ml) of water for 5-6 minutes, simmer gently. Steep for 1 hour, then strain. Take 2 tablespoons three times daily.
- Anti-inflammatory (e.g., sepsis): Boil 10-12g of finely ground wood in 200ml of water for 5 minutes. Steep for 1 hour, then strain. Consume 2 tablespoons before meals, three times daily.
- Sedative, Insomnia, Radiculitis, Hypertension: Boil 2 tablespoons of finely ground branches in 1 cup (200ml) of water for 4-5 minutes. Steep for 1 hour, then strain. Take ¼ cup three times daily before meals.
External Use:
- Mouth & Throat Sores (Stomatis, Laryngitis, Angina): Steep 2 tablespoons of finely ground roots in 300ml of boiling water for 2 hours. Strain and use as a rinse or gargle. For angina, gargle every 30 minutes for 2-3 days.
- Gynecological Inflammatory Conditions & Skin Diseases: Prepare as above and apply topically.

Hemorrhoid Treatment (Complex Remedy):
This requires a combination of Siberian Pea Shrub and Mountain Stone Oil. For micro-enemas, mix 3g of Mountain Stone Oil powder with 600ml of warm boiled water. Administer 30-40g nightly for 2-4 weeks. Simultaneously, take ¼ cup of Siberian Pea Shrub decoction three times daily. Women should combine this with Wintergreen or Common Cowberry, while men may benefit from Red Root.
Wintergreen (Pyrola rotundifolia) Preparation:
Steep 2 teaspoons of dried, ground Wintergreen in 1 cup of boiling water for 2 hours. Strain and take 2 tablespoons 1.5 hours after meals. A two-month course should be followed by a two-week break. This is also effective for nocturnal enuresis.
For external applications (rinses for angina, mouth sores; douches for gynecological inflammation): Boil the Siberian Pea Shrub for 15 minutes over low heat.
Acne, Skin Infections: Decoctions and infusions are effective against skin infections, acne, and dermatitis.
Tincture Preparation:
- Combine 10g of Siberian Pea Shrub with 100ml of 70% alcohol or vodka.
