Respiratory Applications
Traditionally used to support relief from coughs with difficult-to-expectorate phlegm associated with conditions such as acute and chronic bronchitis, acute laryngitis, acute tracheitis, bronchial asthma, acute and chronic pneumonia, and whooping cough.
Dermatological Applications
Historically applied internally for allergic and purulent skin diseases, arthritic psoriasis, microbial and post-traumatic eczema, and atopic dermatitis. Externally, it’s been traditionally used for microbial and seborrheic eczema, acne, and furunculosis.
Preparation
Add 1 tablespoon of Marsh Labrador Tea shoots to 200ml of boiling water. Steep for 20 minutes, then strain. Take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times daily before meals.
Contraindications
Not recommended for pregnant women, children under 14, or individuals with known allergies to Ledum palustre.
