Evening Biocor Dragee 0.18 g No. 120
Description
Evening Biocor dragees, thanks to their natural complex of substances, possess sedative, tranquilizing, and mild hypotensive properties, regulating cardiac activity and acting as a gentle spasmolytic. Valerian exhibits multifaceted effects on the body, soothing an overstimulated nervous system. It regulates heart function by acting on palpitations via the central nervous system, improves gastrointestinal secretory function, relieves esophageal spasms, and helps regulate bile secretion and excretion. Valerian’s therapeutic action stems from its complex composition, primarily its essential oil and alkaloids. The rhizomes and roots contain up to 2% essential oil. Valerian preparations are used as a calming agent for insomnia, nervous excitement, cardiovascular neuroses, tachycardia, as well as for epilepsy, asthma, migraine, gastrointestinal spasms, and in the treatment of neurodermatitis. It’s sometimes used in combination with bromide preparations, cardiac and sedative medications. In folk medicine, valerian is used in infusions, decoctions, extracts, and powders. Root infusion is consumed during menopause and post-illness as an appetite stimulant and general tonic.
Mint restores strength, relieves nervous overstimulation and nervousness due to sleep deprivation. It reduces skin reactivity during nervous overstimulation or contact with irritants, enhances epidermal protective functions, and evens skin tone. Pharmacological properties of mint include: choleretic, spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, reduction of fermentation and putrefaction in the intestines, general tonic, wound-healing, and diuretic effects. It exerts a spasmolytic effect on cerebral vessels, beneficial for dizziness, nausea, vomiting, motion sickness, and vestibular disorders, optimizing cerebral blood flow. Mint offers anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects for caries, gingivitis, and stomatitis. It eliminates bad breath associated with digestive disorders, alleviates heartburn, and eases spasms and colitis in the stomach and intestines. It possesses antiviral activity, relieves muscle pain, and lessens menstrual pain.
Hops contain cellulose, pectin, glucose, fructose, organic and mineral acids (malic, citric, succinic, oxalic, phosphoric, silicic), salts of copper, iron, and sulfur, and amino acids. The inflorescences (cones) contain essential oil, the bitter substance lupulin, ascorbic acid, humulone, valerianic acid, trimethylamine, resin, gum, coloring and tannins, choline, bitters, hypoxanthine, wax, and phytoncides.
