Bilberry leaf extracts offer astringent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, haemostatic, diuretic, cholagogue, hypoglycemic, and analgesic properties. They regulate pancreatic function, inhibit protozoa growth, improve night vision, and mildly lower blood pressure. Traditional uses include treating cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, bladder atony, urolithiasis, cholelithiasis, enterocolitis, gastric colic, and mild diabetes.
