Dosage and Administration:
- Adults and Children ≥ 40 kg:
- Standard Dose (All Indications): 1 tablet twice a day.
- Higher Dose (Otitis Media, Sinusitis, Lower Respiratory Tract and Urinary Tract Infections): 1 tablet three times a day.
- Elderly Patients (>65 years): No dose adjustment required.
- Patients with Impaired Renal Function (Creatinine Clearance > 30 ml/min): No dose adjustment required.
- Patients with Impaired Liver Function: Use with caution and monitor liver function regularly.
- Children Weighing < 40 kg: Not intended for use in this age group.
Important Information:
- Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, clavulanate, or other penicillins. History of severe allergic reactions to beta-lactam drugs. History of jaundice or liver damage associated with amoxicillin/clavulanic acid.
