Amixidine Disinfectant – 1 Liter

Description: Amixidine is a clear, light to dark pinkish-red liquid with a mild, characteristic odor. This powerful disinfectant contains 10% N,N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)dodecylamine, 7% N,N-didecyl-N,N-dimethylammonium chloride, 3% polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride, and other functional components. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution is 9.8 ± 1.0.

Amixidine boasts broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive microorganisms (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis), viruses (including adenoviruses, influenza viruses, parainfluenza viruses, and other acute respiratory infection agents; enteroviruses; rotaviruses; poliovirus; enteral, parenteral hepatitis viruses; herpes viruses; atypical pneumonia viruses; avian influenza viruses; and HIV), Candida and Trichophyton fungi, and mold fungi. It’s effective against nosocomial and anaerobic infections.

This versatile disinfectant offers excellent cleaning and deodorizing properties. It’s non-corrosive to metals, doesn’t discolor fabrics, doesn’t fix organic stains, and retains its effectiveness after freezing and thawing. Working solutions are non-flammable, fire-safe, and explosion-proof. Note that Amixidine is incompatible with soaps and anionic surfactants.

Amixidine is ideal for:

• Disinfection and cleaning of surfaces: in premises, hard and soft furniture, flooring, upholstery, furnishings, equipment surfaces, instruments, sanitary equipment, linen, dishes (including laboratory ware), dishwashing items, rubber mats, cleaning equipment, toys, patient care items, and personal hygiene items in healthcare facilities (including clinical, diagnostic, and bacteriological laboratories; neonatal units; maternity wards; neonatal wards; etc.), childcare facilities, correctional facilities, and during outbreak control (routine, terminal, and preventative disinfection).
• Disinfection of incubators and accessories: including components of anesthesia and respiratory equipment.
• Disinfection of medical waste: single-use medical devices (including laboratory ware), dressings, disposable linen, etc., before disposal in healthcare facilities, as well as food waste.
