Alaminol is suitable for disinfecting surfaces in various settings, including:

• Healthcare facilities (hospitals, clinics, etc.): Disinfection of surfaces, medical equipment (including surgical and dental instruments), endoscopes, and pre-sterilization cleaning (with and without simultaneous disinfection). Suitable for both manual and mechanized (ultrasonic) cleaning in devices such as Kristall-5, UZV-10/150-TN-RELTEK, UZO1/01-MEDEL, and UZO3/01-MEDEL.
• Public spaces: Disinfection in communal facilities (dormitories, hotels), catering establishments, and childcare centers. Effective in tackling mold and mildew.
• General cleaning: Thorough disinfection of surfaces, furniture, sanitary equipment, cleaning tools, and laundry.
• Waste disposal: Safe and effective disinfection of medical waste (dressings, wipes, single-use items) before disposal.

Application Instructions

Working solutions are prepared by adding the appropriate amount of concentrate to potable water in glass, enamel (intact enamel), or plastic containers.

• Surfaces: Wipe surfaces with a cloth dampened with the solution (150 ml/m²).
• Sanitary equipment: Clean using a brush or cloth dampened with the solution (200 ml/m²).
• Laundry: Soak laundry in the solution (5 L solution/1 kg laundry). Rinse thoroughly after disinfection.
• Medical waste (textiles): Soak in a 5% solution for 3 hours before disposal.
• Single-use medical instruments (metals, glass, plastics): Immerse in a 5% solution for 60 minutes. Rubber items require an 8% solution for 60 minutes. Dispose of after disinfection.
• Mold removal: Clean affected surfaces, then apply an 8% solution twice or thrice at 15-minute intervals. Disinfection time: 3 hours (twice) or 2 hours (thrice).
• Manual disinfection of medical instruments: Ensure complete submersion, with at least 1 cm solution above instruments. Rinse thoroughly with potable water for 3 minutes after disinfection.
• Mechanized disinfection of medical instruments: Place instruments in the ultrasonic cleaner basket in no more than two layers, ensuring adequate solution access.

Storage and Shelf Life

• Concentrate: Store in unopened packaging in a covered, ventilated storage area at 0°C to +35°C, away from medications, food, and children. Shelf life: 1 year.
• Working solutions: Store in closed containers in a cool, dark place. Shelf life: 10 days. For manual use, solutions may be reused if their appearance remains unchanged. Mechanized solutions should be used only once.
