Uses
Alaminol is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including bacteria, tubercle bacilli (Mycobacterium tuberculosis), viruses, and fungi. Its applications include:
- Disinfection of surfaces: Effectively disinfects surfaces in premises, furniture, sanitary equipment, cleaning equipment, linen, patient care items, and medical waste (dressings, wipes, single-use linen, etc., and single-use medical devices) before disposal.
- General cleaning: Ideal for thorough general cleaning procedures.
- Mold and mildew removal: Eliminates mold and mildew effectively.
- Disinfection of medical instruments: Suitable for the disinfection, including combined pre-sterilization cleaning, of medical devices (including surgical and dental instruments) and pre-sterilization cleaning, not combined with disinfection, of endoscopes and their instruments manually. Also suitable for pre-sterilization cleaning, combined and uncombined with disinfection, of metal instruments (including surgical and dental instruments) using mechanized methods in ultrasonic units such as “Kristall-5,” “UZV-10/150-TN-“RELTEK”, “UZO1/01-MEDEL”, and “UZO3/01-MEDEL”.

Physical Properties
Alaminol is a clear, liquid solution ranging in color from blue to blue-green with a mild fragrance. pH is 3.8 ± 1.2. It freezes at -5°C but retains its properties after thawing. It mixes well with water and possesses mild cleaning properties.
Microbiological Properties
Demonstrates bactericidal, tuberculocidal, virucidal, and fungicidal activity.
Toxicity
According to GOST 12.1.007-76, Alaminol belongs to hazard class 3 (moderately hazardous) for oral ingestion and hazard class 4 (low hazard) for skin contact. It exhibits a pronounced irritant effect on skin and mucous membranes of the eyes. Inhalation of vapors poses low risk. Working solutions exhibit a weak irritant effect and are not sensitizing.
Application Instructions
Working solutions are prepared in glass, enameled (without enamel damage), or plastic containers by adding the appropriate amount of concentrate to potable water. Follow the dilution instructions provided for specific applications. For surface disinfection, wipe surfaces with a cloth moistened with the working solution (150 ml/m²). For sanitary equipment, use a brush or scrub, applying 200 ml/m². Linen should be soaked (5 liters of solution per 1 kg of linen) and thoroughly rinsed after disinfection. For medical waste, refer to the specific instructions within the product packaging.
Shelf Life
Concentrate: 1 year; Working solutions: 10 days.
Storage
Store the concentrate in the unopened original container in a covered, ventilated warehouse at temperatures between 0°C and +35°C, separately from medications, food products, and out of reach of children. Store working solutions in closed containers in a cool, dark place.
