Set of 8 Glass Cupping Massage Jars (33mm) for Hijama Therapy
Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy, a time-honored healing modality, has been used for centuries to improve health and well-being. Historically practiced with animal horns, clay pots, and bronze or ceramic vessels, this ancient technique has evolved, with glass medical cups now commonly used. This set of 8 high-quality, 33mm glass cupping jars provides a safe and effective way to experience the benefits of this therapeutic practice, ideal for Hijama and other applications.
How Glass Cupping Jars Work
The principle of cupping therapy lies in creating a vacuum inside the glass jar. This vacuum, traditionally achieved using fire (although modern alternatives exist), enhances blood and lymph circulation, improves tissue nourishment, and facilitates the removal of toxins from the skin and underlying tissues.
Therapeutic Applications
- Immune system support
- Neuralgia (not recommended for use during muscle spasms)
- Myositis
- Osteochondrosis (in remission)
- Cellulite
- Menstrual pain
- Digestive disorders
Types of Cupping Massage
Two primary methods exist: static and dynamic. Static cupping involves placing the jars on the affected area and leaving them in place. Dynamic cupping involves moving the jars across the skin. While glass jars are well-suited for static cupping, dynamic cupping may be more easily accomplished with silicone or other flexible cup types.
