Medical Waste Classification:

• Class A - White (Non-hazardous): Waste without contact with patient biological fluids or infectious materials. Examples include food waste (excluding infectious disease units), non-toxic furniture, equipment, and uninfected paper.
• Class B - Yellow (Hazardous): Potentially infected waste, including materials contaminated with bodily fluids (blood, etc.), pathological waste, and organic surgical waste. Includes all waste from infectious disease units and microbiology labs working with pathogens of groups 3-4.

Instructions for Use:

1. Select the appropriate bag size and hazard class.
2. Open the bag and shape it into a round form.
3. Place the bag in a suitable container (bin, basket).
4. Secure the bag by folding its edges along the container rim.
5. Fill the bag up to ¾ full with waste of the selected hazard class. Avoid sharp instruments (needles, blades, scalpels, etc.).
6. Fill in the information on the pre-printed label.
7. Gather the edges of the bag and remove air.
8. Twist the neck of the bag and secure it with a tie closure.
9. The bag is now ready for transport to a temporary storage area within the facility.
