Highly effective against infestations caused by pinworms (Enterobius vermicularis), roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides), hookworms (Ankylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus). Pharmacokinetics Practically not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. After taking a single dose of 12.5 mg / kg plasma concentration of 0.05-0.13 mcg / ml for 1-3 hours. Side effects From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and loss of appetite are rarely noted (most often these symptoms are explained by the death of helminths); Allergic reactions – itching, urticaria, exanthema; A slight short-term increase in the activity of “liver” transaminases; Headache, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness or insomnia, hearing loss, hallucinations, confusion, paresthesia, hyperthermia.
