Ferezol j-t for nar. prim. in vial 15 g in pack No. 1
Description:
Easily mobile oily liquid from light brown to dark brown in color with the smell of phenol. During storage, the formation of crystals is allowed. Pharmacological action Pharmacological properties. Ferezol is a combined drug that has a cauterizing and bactericidal effect. The mechanism of antimicrobial action is the irreversible coagulation of proteins that are part of the vital structures of the pathogen (cytoplasmic membrane, flagella, etc.), which leads to the loss of the functions they perform and the death of the microbe. The drug does not have a pronounced selectivity for certain types of microbes, active against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa. The mechanism of cauterizing action is due to the destruction of macromolecules of cells and fibers of the skin and mucous membranes (chemical burn). Causes chemical burns on contact with body tissues. Indications for use For the removal of papillomas, genital warts of the skin, keratomas, warts, dry calluses. Dosage and administration For external use only. The drug is applied exactly to the area to be treated with a small thin wooden stick or a special applicator, avoiding contact with neighboring healthy skin areas. Ferezol is applied once to small papillomas (up to 2 mm in size) and filiform warts. Larger papillomas and small warts (2-3 mm in size) are smeared with the preparation 3-4 times, taking breaks to dry the applied liquid. Before Ferezol removes warts with a dense keratinized surface on the hands, plantar warts, keratomas, dry calluses, it is necessary to remove horny layers from their surface. To do this, a keratolytic ointment (for example, 10% salicylic or others) is applied for several hours, covering the smeared area with compress paper or plastic wrap, and then using a gauze bandage. Possibly sealed with adhesive tape. After that, the bandage or adhesive plaster is removed, the skin is steamed in hot water with the addition of soap and soda for 10-15 minutes. and remove horny layers (cut off with nail scissors or tongs). Ferezol is applied to dried skin several times, taking 3-4 minute breaks to dry the drug. Warts on the hands and soles are treated with Ferezol 7-10 times with an interval of 3-4 minutes. It is enough to treat keratomas and dry calluses 3-4 times with an interval of 3-4 minutes. If it is necessary to repeatedly apply the drug in order to avoid burning the surrounding skin, it is advisable to lubricate it with zinc paste. The paste is removed with a dry gauze pad after the last portion of Ferezol has dried. Genital warts are not recommended to be removed on their own, their treatment with Ferezol is carried out in the treatment room of the clinic by a dermatovenereologist or urologist. Ferezol is applied to each element separately 1-2 times with an interval of 3-4 minutes. Re-treatment, if necessary, is carried out 6-8 days after the crust falls off. 4-5 procedures are allowed. Use during pregnancy and lactation The use of the drug during pregnancy or lactation is possible only when the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child. During breastfeeding, it is not recommended to remove formations located on the mammary glands and hands. Precautions Do not apply the drug to mucous membranes. Do not use the drug in the eye area.
