Avoid physical activity, do not eat or smoke immediately before measurement. 2. Before measuring, sit down for at least five minutes and relax. 3. Always take measurements on the same arm (usually on the left). 4. Remove tight-fitting clothing from the shoulder. Shirt sleeves should not be rolled up as this may cause pressure, sleeves made of thin fabric do not interfere with the measurement if they fit loosely. 5.
