Dosage and administration Inside, during meals, the tablets are swallowed without chewing, with a glass of water. Children and adolescents Betahistine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to insufficient data on efficacy and safety. Elderly patients Betahistine should be used with caution in elderly patients because the available safety data are limited. Renal insufficiency There are no data on the use in patients with renal insufficiency. Hepatic insufficiency There are no data on the use in patients with hepatic insufficiency.
