Description:

The main active ingredient Acyclovir + butaminophen Release form Ointment Pharmacological action Actovir is a combined drug that has an antiviral effect (anti-herpetic), which is due to the pharmacological properties of its active components: acyclovir and butaminophen. Aciclovir Aciclovir is an antiviral drug that has been shown to be active in in vitro studies against herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2. When it enters cells infected with the herpes virus, acyclovir is phosphorylated and converted to its active form – acyclovir triphosphate. The first step in this process depends on the presence of HSV-encoded thymidine kinase.
