Cream-Colored Compression Knee-High Socks, Compression Class 1
Compression knee-high socks are a medical device used to treat and prevent various lower limb venous diseases. This therapeutic and prophylactic hosiery is widely and effectively used as a preventive measure and as an auxiliary treatment for conditions such as:
- Varicose veins
- Chronic venous insufficiency
- Superficial thrombophlebitis
- Post-traumatic complications
- Pre- and postoperative periods
- Venous disease prevention
Compression knee-high socks are recommended for individuals with existing vascular diseases, those experiencing initial symptoms, and those proactively seeking to maintain their venous health. The appropriate compression class should be determined by a phlebologist.
Our socks are designed with anatomical features for optimal comfort. Natural materials minimize skin irritation, while high elasticity provides therapeutic benefits.
Compression Class 1:
Suitable for individuals experiencing initial symptoms of venous disease, as well as for the prevention and treatment of post-traumatic complications, during the pre- and postpartum periods, and after cast removal. Specifically beneficial for:
- Early-stage chronic venous insufficiency
- “Heavy legs” syndrome (heaviness, numbness, pressure in the legs)
- Prevention and treatment of post-cast removal complications
- Pre- and postpartum periods with varicose veins
- Varicose veins presenting as a noticeable vascular pattern on the legs.
Compression Class 2:
A therapeutic option for individuals with developed and clearly expressed vascular diseases, and also useful for reducing post-traumatic swelling. Specifically indicated for:
- Chronic venous insufficiency with dilated superficial veins
- Varicose veins and spider veins
- Sclerotherapy for varicose veins
- Superficial thrombophlebitis
- Post-traumatic limb edema
Contraindications:
- Open wounds in the affected vessel area
- Local skin diseases (dermatitis)
- Diabetes
- Cardiac and pulmonary insufficiency
- Allergic reactions to the sock materials
Consult your physician before use!

- The duration of use should be determined by your physician.
- If an allergic reaction occurs, consult your physician immediately.
Compression Socks and Thrombosis:
Thrombosis occurs when blood clots form inside a vein, obstructing normal blood flow. Compression socks are often recommended for thrombosis prevention. Various factors can contribute to thrombosis, including post-surgical complications (where blood clots can form due to blood pressure changes and blood thickening). Consider wearing compression knee-high socks before and after surgery.
Thrombosis during pregnancy and childbirth: Pregnant women often experience leg problems, which may worsen as delivery approaches. Since medication is usually avoided during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary, compression socks are a primary preventative measure. Both Cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries increase the risk of blood clots, even in young women. Elevated blood pressure combined with impaired blood flow can lead to serious complications. Therefore, compression socks are often recommended before and after delivery.
Thrombosis in older adults: Individuals over 40 experiencing leg fatigue, pain, and swelling should consider using compression knee-high socks, as the risk of thrombosis significantly increases after this age. Preventive use of anti-varicose hosiery can help mitigate this risk.
