Contraindications:
Absolute Contraindications:
Chronic arterial diseases of the legs with systolic blood pressure below 80 mmHg (e.g., aortoarteritis, atherosclerosis, obliterating thrombangiitis, endoarteritis).
Relative Contraindications:
The use of compression stockings should be discussed with a physician in the following cases:
- Eczema, pressure sores, open wounds, stasis dermatitis, acute thrombophlebitis.
- Inflammatory or trophic skin diseases with significant microbial contamination.
- Highly sensitive skin.
- Cardiopulmonary insufficiency with signs of circulatory disorders at rest.
- Diabetes with vascular complications in the legs.
- Septic phlebitis.
Application:
The duration of wear (short-term or long-term) should be determined by a physician.
- Insert your hand into the stocking and grasp the heel.
- Turn the stocking inside out up to the heel.
- Place your foot into the stocking, ensuring the heel is correctly positioned.
- Gradually pull the stocking up your leg, smoothing out any wrinkles.
- Ensure even distribution to achieve graduated compression.
- Do not pull the top edge forcefully.
