Title: Beige Compression Stockings, Class 2 Compression, 1 Pair – IDEALISTA
Description:
IDEALISTA Class 2 compression stockings (for men and women) with an open toe. These comfortable, durable stockings feature a soft toe seam, extra-strong elastic threads in the foot area for enhanced durability, and high breathability thanks to the superior capillarity of the fibers. Flat seams ensure a smooth, comfortable fit under clothing. How to Put On Your Compression Stockings:
By Hand:
- Ideally put them on in the morning. Ensure your nails are trimmed and rings are removed.
- Sit on a bed or chair with your leg bent at the knee.
- Turn the stocking inside out up to the heel.
- Insert your hand into the stocking, grasp the heel, and turn it right side out to the heel only. Smooth it out.
- Insert your thumbs inside the stocking, stretching it wide.
- Pull the heel area over your heel, securing it by stepping onto your heel.
- Make a small fold at mid-foot, grasp it firmly on both sides, stretch, and pull it up to the instep, securing it against your heel (using your thumbs or the base of your palms). Smooth it over your heel and up to your ankle.
- Continue pulling up the stocking section by section (approx. 5cm), stretching and smoothing to remove wrinkles. Check the heel position. If it’s misaligned, readjust it.
Using a Donning Aid:
- Place the donning aid on the floor.
- Hold the stocking with the heel facing you.
- Slide the stocking onto the donning aid up to the heel.
- Insert your foot.
- Pull the donning aid up to your knee.
- Remove the donning aid.
- Smooth out any wrinkles.
How to Remove Your Compression Stockings:
- Grasp the top of the stocking and gently roll it down to your knee, then ankle, and finally toe.
- Avoid pulling on the waistband; instead, grasp the knitted fabric.
Important Notes:
- If the stocking is not adequately stretched, do not pull it up by the top; lower it and stretch it again in sections, but more firmly.
- Gloves are recommended when putting on the stockings.
- For knee-high stockings, do not pull them up above the kneecap.
- For stockings with silicone bands, do not apply cream or ointment to the areas where the silicone band adheres to the leg.
- For tights and men’s compression socks, if the compression area is not sufficiently stretched, do not attempt to pull it up by the “pants” section, as this may cause seams to burst or loops to form.
- Do not cut off loose threads or labels. This could unravel the knitting.
- Wear stockings as recommended by your doctor. If no specific instructions are given, wear them in the morning and remove them in the evening.
Care Instructions:
Hand wash daily with mild detergent at a temperature of 30°C or less. Air dry away from direct heat and sunlight.
