How to Use

1. Hold the respirator and unfold it into a cup shape.
2. Place the bottom edge against your chin and the nose piece upwards.
3. Position the top strap over your head and behind your neck. Secure the bottom strap beneath your ears.
4. Using both hands, gently mold the nose piece to the shape of your nose, firmly pressing the flexible metal strip.

Fit Test

1. Completely cover the respirator with both hands without shifting it.
2. Exhale. You should feel positive pressure inside the respirator. If you detect air leakage around your nose, readjust the metal nose piece and repeat. If leakage persists, adjust the straps and retest. Proper fit is crucial for optimal protection; do not enter a contaminated area until a secure seal is achieved.

Importance of a Proper Seal

FFP3 respirators are most effective when a tight seal exists between the respirator and your face. Compromised sealing significantly reduces protection, allowing contaminated air to enter. Ensure a clean-shaven face, as facial hair can interfere with a proper fit. Tie back long hair.

Storage
