Product Description

This 10-liter container of 0.5% Chlorhexidine Digluconate Aqueous-Alcoholic Solution is a potent disinfectant effective against a wide range of microorganisms. Its broad-spectrum efficacy makes it suitable for various applications in healthcare, beauty salons, and other professional settings. This solution is highly effective but requires careful handling due to its flammability.

Applications & Instructions

• Hand Hygiene (General): Apply 3ml to hands and rub until dry (30 seconds).
• Surgical Hand Antisepsis: Thoroughly wash hands and forearms twice with soap and warm water (2 minutes each), dry with a sterile gauze. Apply 2.5ml twice to hands and forearms, keeping them moist for 5 minutes. Apply sterile gloves after complete drying.
• Skin Disinfection (Surgical Sites, Donor Sites, Catheter Insertion): Thoroughly wipe the area twice with separate sterile gauze pads soaked in the solution. Allow 2 minutes contact time. Pre-operative showering is recommended.
• Injection Site Disinfection: Wipe the area with a sterile cotton swab soaked in the solution (30 seconds contact time). Alternatively, spray until fully moistened and allow 30 seconds contact time.
• Disinfection of Worn Gloves: Thoroughly wipe the exterior of gloves with a sterile cotton or gauze pad soaked in the solution (minimum 3ml per pad) for at least 1 minute until completely dry.
• Disinfection of Small, Alcohol-Resistant Instruments: Completely immerse instruments immediately after use, removing visible debris with tissue. Fill channels and cavities, avoiding air bubbles. Flush channels with the solution and air using a syringe or similar device. Repeat until bioburden is removed. Disassemble instruments before immersion. For instruments with locking mechanisms, open and work the mechanism to ensure thorough penetration. Maintain a minimum 1cm solution depth. After a 5-minute disinfection period, rinse thoroughly with potable water (minimum 1 minute), paying special attention to channels.

• Keep away from open flames and heat sources. No smoking.
• Do not use after the expiration date.
• Do not dispose of undiluted into drains or waterways.
• Flammable! Easily ignites!

Transportation & Storage

Transport by land in accordance with applicable regulations at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C. In case of spillage, collect the solution for proper disposal. Store in tightly closed original container at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep away from medications and out of reach of children. No smoking!
