Vasalamin N20x2 Tablets: A Natural Approach to Vascular Health
Description:
Vasalamin N20x2 is a dietary supplement providing a unique complex of polypeptides and nucleic acids derived from bovine and porcine aorta. These enteric-coated tablets support vascular health, contributing to improved cholesterol levels and microcirculation. This product is ideal for maintaining cardiovascular function, particularly in older adults.
Composition & Packaging:
Each enteric-coated tablet (light cream to cream color, 7 mm diameter, 0.155 mg) contains 10 mg of Vasalamin powder* (*a complex of polypeptides and nucleic acids extracted from the aorta of cattle and pigs). Excipients include lactose, sucrose, potato starch, calcium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, and propylene glycol. Packaged in blister packs (20 tablets per pack, 2 blisters per carton).
Pharmacological Action:
Vasalamin, derived from animal aorta, is a complex of proteins and nucleoproteins that selectively target vascular tissue. It promotes healthy vascular function, contributes to normalized cholesterol and lipoprotein levels, and improves microcirculation. Clinical studies involving 108 patients with atherosclerosis demonstrated improved overall well-being, particularly among those with cerebrovascular disorders. Many patients also experienced increased capillary strength, improved skin and hair condition, and reduced instances of petechiae. Laboratory tests showed significant reductions in total cholesterol and atherogenic lipoprotein fractions, possibly due to Vasalamin’s niacin content. The presence of branched-chain amino acids (valine, leucine, isoleucine) helps protect against vascular wall degradation. Vasalamin also aids in restoring venous blood flow and reducing microcirculatory disturbances in the brain.
Indications:
Vasalamin is recommended to support vascular health and improve the structure and function of the intima in conditions such as:
- Atherosclerosis (general and cerebral)
- Coronary artery disease (CAD)
- Systemic and localized microcirculatory disorders
- Discirculatory encephalopathy
- Post-stroke recovery
- Hypercholesterolemia
- Raynaud’s phenomenon
- Geriatric care
