Flucinar N Ointment: Powerful Relief for Skin Conditions (0.25mg+5mg)/g 15g
Find fast relief from itchy, inflamed skin conditions with Flucinar N ointment. This potent combination of fluocinolone acetonide and neomycin sulfate effectively targets a wide range of dermatological issues.
Description:
Flucinar N ointment is a light yellow, translucent, oily soft mass. It’s available in 15g tubes and contains the active ingredients:
- Fluocinolone acetonide (0.25mg): A potent synthetic corticosteroid with strong anti-inflammatory, antipruritic (anti-itch), and vasoconstrictive effects.
- Neomycin sulfate (5mg): A broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against aerobic Gram-positive and certain Gram-negative bacteria.
Uses:
Flucinar N ointment is indicated for the external treatment of dry, inflammatory skin conditions that can be managed with corticosteroids, particularly those complicated by a secondary bacterial infection susceptible to neomycin. It effectively tackles persistent itching and hyperkeratosis (thickened skin).
Common conditions treated:
- Seborrheic dermatitis
- Atopic dermatitis
- Allergic contact dermatitis
- Erythema multiforme exudative
- Lupus erythematosus
- Psoriasis (use with caution, see “Special Precautions”)
