Indications for Use:
Magnesium Sulfate is primarily indicated for:

Method of Administration and Dosage:

- Children 6-12 years: 5-10g in 100ml of warm boiled water.

- Heavy Metal Poisoning: For stomach lavage, use a 1% solution of Magnesium Sulfate. For oral administration, use 20-25g in 200ml of water.
Maximum Daily Dose for Adults: Up to 40g.

- Contraindicated during pregnancy.

- Increasing severity: Decreased deep tendon reflexes, prolonged PQ interval and widened QRS complex on ECG, loss of deep tendon reflexes, respiratory depression, impaired heart conduction, cardiac arrest.
